Dietetics and Nutrition

Obesity and excess of weight are health problems, not only because they belong to Cardiovascular High Risk Factors but also because they often imply an unstable emotional condition, with feelings of anxiety, insecurity, anger or low esteem.

A bad nutrition accelerates the natural process of ageing and that shows internal and externally, with loss of firmness and elasticity of skin, weakness in hair and nails, subcutaneous accumulation of fat and cellulite, among others.

The first approach of obesity must have a global plan where we first focus on the correction of all metabolic factors (glycemia, uric acid, cholesterol), thus guaranteeing a PREVENTION of future cardiovascular happenings, ostheoarticular difficulties, among others, and reaching a welfare state it will end up in a physical and psychical improvement of the patient.

1. NUTRITION

  • Global control of obesity, control of Cardiovascular High Risk Factors.
  • Hypocaloric diets.
  • Proteinic diets

BODY TREATMENTS

  • Mesotherapy for the treatment of cellulite and flaccidity.

2. DIET OF PROTEINIC CONTRIBUTION

The diet of protein contribution (DPC) consists of highly reducing the contribution of glucids and lipids in our diet, main source of energy in normal conditions and giving exclusively proteins of high biological value. In this situation, our organism must find an alternative way for the obtention of energy and this is the degradation of fat reserves.

This contribution of proteins of high biological value may keep the structural part of our body (skeleton, muscles, skin and organs) and implies a selective loss of weight upon a degradation of our fat tissue.

DPC requires an strict medical control during which a clinic and analytic observance will be carried out to assure good tolerance to diet. To avoid any kind of lack, it is recommended to complement diet with vitamins, minerals and essential fat acids.

Once obtained the desired weight loss, we enter the second phase, as important as the previous one, that is "Food Reeducation", in which we keep on introducing all of the foods and the patient gradually acquires the necessary food habits which will allow him to keep the weight in the long term.

3. BODY MESOTHERAPY

It consists of the subcutaneous or intradermical administration of several homeopathical substances or little doses through multiple injections applied to the selected area. Their effects are:

  • Activation of local circulation.
  • Improvement of tissue oxigenation.
  • Lipolitic effect.
  • Reaffirmation effect.

The main indications are the treatment of Cellulite and the treatment of Flaccidity. Depending on the predominant problem in the patient, we'll choose the most suitable treatment.

We normally indicate that weekly sessions for eight-ten weeks are needed. Once the treatment is finished, we recommend to do maintenance sessions.
